Product description The 4-Port FireWire-400 Repeater and Hub from Comprehensive/Kramer turns 1 FireWire-400 port on your computer system into 4. The hub also acts as a repeater, allowing you to double the length that FireWire cable can be run from 14.75' (4.5 m) to 29.5' (9 m). Multiple repeaters can be cascaded to achieve a maximum length of 236' (72 m)
FireWire-400 supports data transfer bandwidth of up to 50 MB/sec, making it an ideal solution for high performance external storage devices. Users who have multiple FireWire-400 devices and only not enough ports on their computer or need to connect remote FireWire devices to a computer will find this hub and repeater to be an ideal solution to meet their needs. - Expandability
- The hub turns 1 FireWire-400 port into 4, allowing you to more easily connect multiple FireWire-400 devices to your computer.
