Product description Provided by third party: TP780TXR is a high-performance, HDBaseT twisted pair transmitter for 4K, 2K x 4K HDMI, Ethernet, bidirectional RS-232, IR signals and PoE. The TP780TXR inputs HDMI, Ethernet, RS-232, and IR signals and converts them into an HDBaseT twisted pair signal, that it transmits to a TP780RXR receiver. The TP780TXR provides power remotely over Ethernet to the TP780RXR in places, where an external power supply is difficult to reach. The result is that a single HDBaseT LAN cable can provide both data and power to compatible devices.
