Product description With its continued excellence in affordable sound reproduction, Kramer has once again created a versatile, portable amplifier, the 900XL Stereo Audio Amplifier. Experience big sound from a compact design; it offers 10W x 2-channel @ 4 ohms, unbalanced RCA stereo line-level inputs, and a 3.5mm stereo line-level input. It provides superb functionality and audible clarity that will be hard to match. The 900XL can handle high volumes and heavy bass from only 12V of power without overheating. In addition, it features a detachable 4-pin terminal block for speaker connectivity, RS-232 control (terminal block), gain level switch, and an LED indicator for overheating protection warning. Because of the high efficiency of its design, the Kramer 900XL produces exceptional sound quality; it's an ideal solution for amplifying portable DVD/CD players and PCs in a variety of multimedia applications. - 10W x 2-Channel Amplification
- It will accept an unbalanced stereo audio signal (i.e., CD player, iPod, PC), and produce a clean 10W x 2-channel speaker level output, with an audio signal-to-noise ratio of 60dB. It's capable of reproducing audio with less noise, greater headroom, and an accurate frequency response. Also, the 900XL includes a level switch (gain range: -14.8 to +32dB at high-gain/-21.3 to +20.2dB at low-gain) in the case of audio distortion.
- Optional RS-232 Control
- The 900XL offers RS-232 control through its terminal block for connectivity to your PC's RS-232 9-in D-Sub port. The serial commands, such as volume control and input selection, transmitted by your PC or other serial controllers to the 900XL is achieved with Kramer's Protocol 2000 (version 0.50).
