Product description The Kramer TP-126xl VGA with Stereo Audio and RS-232 over Ethernet is a receiver balun that, when paired with a compatible transmitter such as the TP-125xl, allows you to send VGA video, RS-232 data and audio up to 820' over a single twisted pair Ethernet cable. It supports computer graphics resolutions up to WUXGA (1920 x 1280) and HDTV component video resolutions up to 1080p. To use component a 15-pin VGA to component adapter cable such as the Kramer C-GM/3RVF is required. In addition to video, the TP-126xl carries two channels of unbalanced analogue audio, S/PDIF digital audio, and RS-232 serial data.
Any Ethernet cable with RJ-45 connectors rated CAT5 or above may be used, however to maintain high resolutions over long cable runs shielded twisted pair (STP) cable such as Kramer's BC-STP products is recommended. - EDID Capture
- Extended Device Identification (EDID) capture allows the TP-126xl to relay EDID data from the display device to the video source to ensure proper synchronization and optimal image quality settings
- Bi-directional RS-232 Interface
- Commands and data can flow in both directions via the RS-232 interface, allowing status requests and control of the destination unit
- Kramer TOOLS Rackmount Option
