Product description Built for presentations, conventions, and A/V integration, the Kramer VP-444 is a scaler and switcher featuring both digital and analog I/O options. 10 HDMI and 2 VGA inputs are offered for video. Audio can be accepted from the incoming HDMI signals, from balanced/unbalanced terminal block inputs, or from the two 1/4" microphone inputs. Using internal video processing hardware, the VP-444 can scale as well as deinterlace video, so you can match your input video to your desired outboard hardware. Output resolutions can be set to match the input resolution or selected manually from standard definition up to 1080p HD and the onboard ProcAmp enables additional processing of your video, allowing for color, hue, contrast and brightness, and other adjustments. Audio can be routed to dedicated terminal block or S/PDIF outputs, or be embedded in the HDMI outputs. HDCP is supported, so protected content, such as Blu-ray format media, will be able to be displayed. While the VP-444 offers traditional front-panel controls for switching and adjusting settings, it can also be controlled using the included IR remote, RS232, or using the Ethernet connection for a web-based interface. If you are primarily controlling the unit remotely, you can lock out the front panel to prevent unwanted or accidental adjustments. For easy integration into professional setups, the VP-444 includes rack ears for standard 19" rack mounting. The entirety of the VP-444 fits into a single RU space. - PixPerfect Scaling Technology for pixel mapping and scaling. 3:2 and 2:2 pull down, deinterlacing, and full up and down scaling of all video input signals
- Companion AFV (Audio-Follow-Video) stereo audio for every input (on terminal blocks)
- Full, Overscan, Underscan, Letterbox, and Panscan aspect ratio selections
- Digital audio signal processing, including audio equalization, mixing, and delay
- Built-in ProcAmp for color, hue, sharpness, noise, contrast & brightness
- Supports 4:4:4 (RGB and YUV) as well as 4:4:2 (YUV) color sampling
- No disruption on the output while switching between inputs and when no video is detected
- Auto Mute and Freeze Frame front-panel controls
- Non-volatile memory saves final settings
- Flexible Control Options: Front panel, IR remote with OSD (on-screen display), Ethernet with built-in Web page control, and RS-232
- Standard 19" 1RU rackmountable
