Product description The VP-773AMP 8-Input HDMI and HDBaseT ProScale Presentation Scaler/Switcher with 2K Support and Audio Power Amplifier from Kramer is a 1U rackmonutable switcher and scaler that accepts one of eight inputs. The inputs consist of one DisplayPort, one composite video, two VGA, and four HDMI. The VP-773AMP outputs HDTV and computer graphics resolutions up to 2K (2048x1080), 1080p, and UXGA with selectable refresh rates. It scales the video, embeds the audio from the input signal, and simultaneously outputs the signal to two HDMI and one HDBaseT TP output. The audio output is simultaneously available on digital, unbalanced analog stereo, and two 10 watt amplified speaker outputs. The VP-773AMP features advanced digital signal processing technology and offers a versatile set of features that includes Picture-in-Picture functions, luma keying, and emergency alert notifications. The VP-773AMP incorporates a certified HDBaseT output port that works with all Kramer's HDBaseT receivers and cables, letting you send your scaled video image up to 590' in Ultra Mode. You can control the switcher using the on-screen display and front buttons on the unit itself, with the included IR remote, or via the built-in web interface. Ideal applications for the VP-773AMP include conference rooms, boardrooms, auditoriums, hotels and churches, production studios, rental and staging, or any application where high-quality conversion and switching of multiple and different video signals to graphical data signals is required for projection purposes. - Picture-in-Picture
- The VP-773AMP features Kramer's unique customization technology for picture sizing. Using two pictures, this allows Picture-in-Picture, Picture-and-Picture, or any other dual window display. Using the Picture-in-Picture technology, two inputs can be shown simultaneously while both images can be sized in any manner and positioned anywhere on the screen.
- Luma Keying
- Easily composite two video source into a single image. By setting up a "key" image or clip on a black background, this image can be overlaid onto the primary video.
- National and Local Emergency Alerts
- The scaling switcher includes a unique, versatile feature for immediate text overlaying, with flexible options such as the inclusion of an audio alert siren, and the choice of displaying via either a text crawler or a text window. The system complies with the standard of the official national warning system, the Emergency Alert System (EAS), which works in coordination with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) with a number of Us national emergency agencies.
The VP-773AMP also supports automated campus emergency alerts suitable for systems such as education facilities, corporate campuses, stadiums, and more. When connected to a network, the switcher will automatically display the alert message when it is sent out. Emergency alert messages are composed and transmitted using the XML-based Common Alert Protocol (CAP) application. Messages with "Extreme" and "severe" headers will appear nearly full screen, while messages with lower levels of severity will appear as text crawls along the bottom of the image. - Full Web Page Management
- Management your VP-773AMP on the web when connected through Ethernet. The built-in web interface provides simplified setup and remote access to switching, windows customization, scaling, and de-interlacing. You can also configure, navigate, and monitoring the unit's features. Additional, the web interface allows you to control picture positioning and sizing, input and output color space, color depth, noise reduction, motion sensitivity, audio and image settings, and more. Advanced features such as Luma keying, EAS, EDID management, port tunneling, and keystoning effects can also be controlled.
