Product description Route multiple video sources to multiple outputs while doing real time conversion, processing, and scaling with the Kramer VP-774AMP HDMI/HDBaseT Proscale Switcher. This version of the VP-774 comes with a stereo 10 watt per channel audio power amplifier to drive speakers. The VP-774AMP accepts video from both digital and analog sources. Digital inputs include four HDMI inputs, a DisplayPort input, and a 3G-SDI input. Digital resolutions of up to DCI 2K (2048 x 1080) are supported. Analog inputs include two VGA inputs and a composite video input. Any of the input sources, whether they are digital or analog, can be routed to any output. The VP-774AMP will process video signals to ensure that they are displayed properly. Analog signals can be converted to digital and vice-versa depending on the output configuration. Lower resolution signals will be upscaled to fit higher resolution outputs, and interlaced signals can be deinterlaced to remove combing artifacts. An HDBaseT output can carry digital video signals over Category (twisted pair) cable for better fidelity over long distances. HDCP information is passed along the HDMI and HDBaseT connections so protected content like Blu-ray videos can be displayed. The BP-774AMP can support audio input via a stereo analog input corresponding with each video input. Digital audio from HDMI inputs can be separated and routed to any audio output. Audio can be output via balanced connections, S/PDIF, and powered speaker outputs. All routing settings can be adjusted via the OSD using the front-panel controls or the included IR remote. Settings can also be changed using RS-232 protocol via a 9-pin D-sub connection. - High−quality 3:2 and 2:2 pull down, deinterlacing and full up and down−scaling of all video input signals.
- Fade-Thru-Black (FTB) Switching
- Video switching transitions are clean. The video fades to black and the new input fades from black for smooth, glitch−free switching. The output signal provides constant sync so the display never glitches.
- HDCP Compliant
- The HDCP (High Definition Content Protection) license agreement allows copy−protected data on the HDMI input to pass only to the HDMI output.
- Advanced EDID Management
- Per input; analyzes the EDID of a selectable master connection to one of the outputs.
- Mass Notification Emergency Communication System (MNEC)
- Activates a national or campus−wide notification, immediately displayed when an emergency situation develops. It uses automatic text overlaying, either via a crawler or a full screen cover up, as well as an optional audio alert.
