Product description The VS-44HDxl 4x4 3G HD-SDI Matrix Switcher from Kramer is designed to manage SD-SDI (SMPTE 259M and SMPTE 344M), HD-SDI (SMPTE 292M), dual-link HD-SDI (SMPTE 372M), and 3G HD-SDI (SMPTE 424M) signals. It offers a 4x4 matrix switching configuration. Switching is implemented during the vertical interval period according to the SMPTE RP-168 standard. - This unit can manage SD-SDI (SMPTE 259M and SMPTE 344M), HD-SDI (SMPTE 292M), dual-link HD-SDI (SMPTE 372M), and 3G HD-SDI (SMPTE 424M) signals
- It offers a 4x4 matrix switching configuration
- Switching is implemented during the vertical interval in compliance with the SMPTE RP-168 standard
- It offers a maximum data rate of 3Gbps
- This unit is HDTV-compatible
- Kramer's proprietary re-Klocking & Equalization Technology rebuilds the digital signal to achieve longer transmission distances
- Switching synchronizes either to external reference or incoming video
- Kramer's proprietary Active Input Type Reporting provides detailed signal status reports via LEDs
- Store multiple switches as presets (salvos) to be recalled and executed as needed
- A take button executes multiple switches at the same time
- Control options include: front panel, RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, contact closure, and IR remote control
- Bi-level and tri-level analog sync type are supported
- Sync-signal termination is selectable
- The device features a front-panel control lockout
- A worldwide power supply of 100 to 240VAC ensures compatibility wherever the unit is used
- It can be mounted in 1U of rack space using the included rack ears
