Product description The Kramer XGA Video/Stereo Audio/Bidirectional RS-232 over Twisted Pair Receiver receives computer graphic signals up to WUXGA & 1080p, unbalanced stereo audio, and bidirectional RS-232 data signals via a twisted pair cable. When used with the TP-125-od twisted pair transmitter, the receiver provides an extension of up to 300’ (91.44m).
Featuring level (gain) and EQ (peaking) controls, the XGA Video/Stereo Audio/Bidirectional RS-232 over Twisted Pair Receiver converts twisted pair signals back into a computer graphics video signal without any loss in the signal over the entire transmission length. It simultaneously provides unbalanced stereo and S/PDIF (24-bit 48kHz) audio output, and supports bidirectional RS-232 signaling with a maximum bitrate of 19.2kbps which is sent over the video signal. Featuring horizontal and vertical polarity adjustment, the XGA Video/Stereo Audio/Bidirectional RS-232 over Twisted Pair Receiver offers improved display compatibility at the output.
The XGA Video/Stereo Audio/Bidirectional RS-232 over Twisted Pair Receiver requires a 12V DC power supply (included) for operation. Power Connect System allows both the transmitter and the receiver to be powered with a single connection when the units are within 150’ (50m) of each other. Via EMP protection, it offers protection against voltage surges induced by electromagnetic field of a nearby lightning strike. However, it does not protect against direct lightning strikes. In addition, 3 units can be mounted side-by-side in 1U rack space with the optional RK-3T rack adaptor. - Receives computer graphic signals up to WUXGA & 1080p, unbalanced stereo audio, and bidirectional RS-232 data signals via a twisted pair cable
