Not only does this bus-powered and rugged hard drive offer enhanced data transfer rates of up to 130 MB/s, it also comes equipped with an integrated Thunderbolt cable and a micro-USB 3.0 port designed to connect the drive to a variety of Windows and Mac computer configurations.
When on-the-go, this LaCie drive is designed to help guard your data against the elements. The IP54-rated enclosure features a removable cover, helps protect against dust and water, can withstand drops from heights of up to 6.6', and is crush-resistant up to 1 ton. AES 256-bit encryption, which is available as a separate, but free download, helps keep stored content safe from intruders.
LaCie's 1TB Rugged Mobile Hard Drive includes a USB 3.0 / 2.0 cable. General protection is provided by a limited 3-year warranty.
