Product description RAID Arrays for Photography and Pro Video Read More The LaCie 2big 2-Bay Thunderbolt 2 RAID Array has two hot-swappable bays that each contain a 4TB 7200 rpm hard drive for a total storage capacity of 8TB. For connectivity, the 2big has a USB 3.0 port as well as two Thunderbolt 2 ports, so you can daisy chain it with other Thunderbolt 2 devices. The drives are preconfigured in HFS+ for Mac systems and in RAID 0 for performance up to a max speed of 420 MB/s. For security, it's compatible with Kensington locks, and is cooled thanks to a built-in fan. - Included Software

- Two onboard Thunderbolt 2 ports each deliver 20 Gb/s bandwidth as well as daisy-chaining capabilities for up to six Thunderbolt-equipped devices via a single cable. With DisplayPort 1.2 support, this interface can connect to higher-resolution displays such as 4K monitors. Additionally, Thunderbolt 2 is backwards compatible and uses the same cables and connectors as first-generation Thunderbolt devices and computers.
