Product description CES 2018: LaCie Rugged Encrypted Portable HDD Read More The 2TB Rugged Secure Portable Hard Drive from LaCie features drop-, shock-, crush-, and rain-resistance, as well as Seagate Secure Technology for all-around protection that's ideal for the traveling professional. Thanks to Seagate Secure Technology that utilizes 256-bit AES hardware encryption, your data is self-encrypting and protected even if the drive is removed from its enclosure.
The drive has USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port that transfers data at speeds up to 130 MB/s. Additionally, it's Thunderbolt 3 compatible since the two interfaces share the same reversible connector. Included with the purchase of the Rugged Secure drive is a two-year rescue data recovery service that can be accessed should any damage happen to the drive and you are unable to recover your information.
Note: In order to take advantage of the 1-month membership to Adobe Creative Cloud, customers will need to register this drive on Seagate.com once it has been received. Upon registration, they will then receive an email with code redemption instructions for one complimentary month of all Adobe Creative Cloud apps, including Lightroom CC, Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, Adobe XD CC, Premiere Pro, Dreamweaver, 100GB of cloud storage, and more.
