This 7" monitor is equipped with easy-to-use function keys, 3G-SDI and 4K HDMI input/ output, 3.5mm earphone slot, and a built-in speaker. The SDI input supports all SD, HD, and SDI formats up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz, while the HDMI input supports formats up to 4K at 30 Hz. With 3G-SDI, 4K HDMI in and loop-out, the monitor not only displays live signals, but also send them out to other monitors simultaneously. It has the ability to display live picture on multiple displays at once while still maintaining the original video quality.
The monitor has a flexible battery system that can be powered by a power adapter (optional) and supports a F970 battery plate (standard), and optional D28S/D54, LP-E6, and U60 battery plates. With a hot shoe mount, it can be connected with the DSLR, slide, and other shooting components to facilitate the shooting and monitoring of different scenes. It can also be connected to a tripod. - Brightness Histogram
- You can use this quantitative tool to check picture brightness. It shows the distribution of brightness in an image as a graph of brightness along the horizontal axis, and a stack of the number of pixels at each level of brightness along the vertical axis.
- Embedded Audio Monitoring
- The audio level meters provide numerical indicators and headroom levels, generating accurate audio level displays to prevent errors during monitoring. The audio meter is green initially but turns yellow and red when it exceeds -20 and -9 dB respectively.
- Peaking Focus Assist
- When the peaking filter is activated, the internal processor displays a colored highlight on the screen where sharp edges appear. You can switch the outline color between red, green, and blue, depending on the different tone of the subject.
- False Color
- The False Color filter helps to set the camera exposure. As the camera iris is adjusted, elements of the image will change color based on the brightness values.
- Exposure Function
- Used to assist in exposure adjustment in the zebra pattern mode, it is considered overexposed and displays the moving warning lines onto the overexposed areas. It can be adjusted from 1 to 100 IRE.
- Check Field (Red, Green, Blue, Mono)
- Adjust camera color settings using the check field mode, using red, green, blue, or mono pixels to generate the image. Hue and saturation can be adjusted quickly and accurately in this environment.
- Zoom In (4x, 9x, 16x)
- Image magnification retains HD signal in any part, an amplification for high-quality close-up.
- Anamorphic Mode
- The built-in selection of no-squeeze, 1.3x, or 2.0x allows you to use anamorphic lenses or adapters and see the image de-squeezed, even if your camera does not do so in-camera. The 2.0x mag mode magnifies the center of your image, allowing you to check the focus of your scaled image.
- Image Flip
- This feature allows you to flip the image vertically, horizontally, or vertically and horizontally together.
- Nine Grid
- You can zoom one of the images to make it full-screen. You can switch the mark color between red, green, blue, white, and black, depending on the different tone of the subject.
- Pixel-To-Pixel
- You can enable the filmmaker to check the image from the 1:1 signal source without scaling.
- Center Marker and Safe Marker
- Safely set up your shot with composition markers (80%, 85%, 90%, 93%, 96%, and 2.35:1). You can also switch the mark color between red, green, blue, white, and black.
- Ratio Marker (4:3, 13:9, 14:9, 15:9, 16:9, 1.85:1, 2.35:1)
