Product description SilverFast Archive Suite 8 for Epson Perfection 4870 from LaserSoft Imaging combines SilverFast Ai Studio 8 and SilverFast HDR Studio 8. This suite includes the following tools: WorkflowPilot: A step-by-step assistant for workflow management
Preview Concept: Preview your edits in real-time
Multi-Exposure: Increases your image's dynamic range
Auto IT8 Calibration: Easily calibrate your scanner in 2 minutes
iSRD: Infrared-based dust and scratch removal
HDRi: Creates 64-bit RAW data from your scans
JobManager: Provides batch processing for your photos
This software is compatible with 64-bit versions of Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 10 as well as Mac OS X 10.7 through 10.11. - WorkflowPilot
- Helps you optimize your personal workflow with step-by-step wizards, tips, and videos
- Preview Concept
- See the result in the preview window of any setting adjustments you make, including complex image enhancement functions such as iSRD and Unsharp Masking (USM). The software allows you to zoom in to 100% in the preview window so you can properly evaluate and set parameters
- Multi-Exposure
- Increases your scanner's dynamic range
- Auto IT8 Calibration
- Calibrates your scanner using a combination of automatic frame detection and barcodes imprinted on all LaserSoft IT8 Targets
- JobManager
- Process many images in 1 pass by inputting a list of settings, parameters, and manipulations to be applied to all selected files
- iSRD
- Uses the scanner's infrared channel instead of software to detect image imperfections. The infrared light's wide wavelength allows it to pass through the film emulsion of negatives and slides but not scratches or dust particles, allowing it to determine where the imperfections are and then calculate their removal 1
Please Note: iSRD can be used with conventional color negatives (developed using the C-41 process), color slides (developed using the E-6 process), and paper proofs. Due to the silver content in conventional black and white negatives and slides, these can't be retouched using iSRD. However, special black and white negatives made for the C-41 process behave like color negatives and are iSRD-compatible close - HDRi
- Lets you generate RAW files from your scans by obtaining all RAW data from your scanner to optimize your files for further editing with other software or on a different computer
