Product description The DR from Lectrosonics is a modular 256-bit encrypted six-channel digital wireless receiver and host mainframe for use with the DSW Encrypted Digital Wireless System that includes DSP, microprocessor, antenna multicoupler, and control interface. It can be used when receiver modules (sold separately) are installed on either side of the mainframe for audio applications such as broadcast TV, live stage, theater, houses of worship, and more. The frequency response is 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The digital architecture, which operates on the standard UHF FCC part 74 frequencies (TV channel band), provides only 2.5 ms of latency and has a better, extended operating range than standard analog and Digital Hybrid Wireless systems. The DR six-channel receiver features antenna ports on the rear panel that accept inputs from remote antennas, or you can use it as a loop-thru output to another mainframe receiver using the internal multicoupler. There is a kit available, (sold separately) to mount the BNC antenna inputs to the front panel and route the coaxial cable inside the mainframe chassis. Other features of the DR receiver include six built-in XLR jacks that provide analog and AES-EBU outputs; a RS-232 port that allows you to control the unit with third party devices. In addition, wireless software for Mac and Windows computers is included, which you can use for frequency coordination and to provide an overall view of your system, including mainframes connected, and more. The display is scalable to fit several different screen sizes and color themes. - Modular Versatility
- Individual receiver modules (sold separately) are nested on both sides of the mainframe assembly. The modules tune across a 25.6 MHz range and can be positioned in any of the six pockets in the chassis. Delrin retaining clips keep the modules securely in place
- Front-Panel Antenna Mounts
- Convenient when the receiver is installed in a rack mount transit case
- Headphone Monitor
- Monitor individual channels or a mix of any number of channels. Volume knob recesses into front panel
- LCD and Control Panel
- Easy navigation of numerous setup parameters is provided by a backlit LCD, membrane pushbuttons and a rotary control wheel
- Encryption Key Interface
- Encryption key transfer and complete transmitter setup is accessed through a TRS mini-jack connection
- Front-Panel USB Port
- A standard USB interface is provided on the front panel for the PC interface
