- Hands On Review : Lectrosonics L-Series Wireless System
The LR Wireless Receiver from Lectrosonics is a digital hybrid ultra-compact portable wireless bodypack receiver with 75 MHz tuning bandwidth and with tracking front-end filters. When paired with a transmitter and microphone it can be used to capture audio in environments for applications such as broadcast TV, video production, ENG field work, and more. The LR has several other features to help provide good clear audio, such as compatibility modes to allow the receiver to operate with older analog receivers. Dual antenna diversity helps to improve range and resistance to dropouts. There is also a built-in RF spectrum analyzer and SmartTune scan, which make finding a clean frequency on-site quick and easy. In addition, the LR receiver is enclosed in machined-aluminum housing and built with detachable antennas that allow for remote antenna mounting. LCD and membrane switch interfaces provide clear information for setup and status monitoring. This transmitter operates in the A1 frequency band between 470.100 to 537.575 MHz. - LMb Digital Hybrid Wireless Beltpack Transmitter (A1: 470.100 to 537.575 MHz) The LMb from Lectrosonics is a digital hybrid wireless beltpack transmitter with 75 MHz tuning bandwidth and 50 mW RF power. When paired with a mic and receiver, it can be used to capture audio for applications such as broadcast TV, theater, houses of worship, live stage, and more. The LMb has several other features to help you obtain good clear audio, such as 25 or 100 kHz tuning steps, a compatibility mode to ensure analog receivers will work well with the transmitter, a microphone input allowing you to use mic or line level inputs. When combined with the optional MI39-type instrument interface cable (sold separately), the LMb transmitter can be used as a musical instrument transmitter for guitar, bass or portable keyboard. In addition, the durable LMb transmitter is enclosed in machined-aluminum housing and is built with a fixed antenna. A multi-function toggle switch allows audio muting, power on/off, or talkback (when used with the SRb or Venue receivers). A LCD and membrane switch interface make the LMb transmitter easy to setup and simple to use. This transmitter operates on the A1 channel between 470.100 to 537.575 MHz.
- LRSHOE Receiver Mount Kit for LR Receiver The LRSHOE Receiver Mount Kit from Lectrosonics is an accessory shoe for the LR Digital Hybrid wireless receiver. It can be used to mount the receiver to a DSLR type camera or accessory bracket. This LRSHOE kit is supplied with all the parts needed to mount the receiver securely.
- MCLRTRS Audio Patch Cord for LR Receiver with 1/8" TRS Camera Input (20") The MCLRTRS from Lectrosonics is an 20" audio patch cord with a TA3F (mini XLR) on one end and a standard 1/8" (3.5mm) TRS (stereo) mini plug on the other end. It is designed for use with LR series receivers, and also works with SR series receivers with the SREXT adapter installed. It can be used for audio applications such as DSLR cameras, recorders, and more. Pin 2 of the TA3 connector feeds the tip and ring connections on the mini plug so both channels of a stereo recorder receive audio.
- MCSRXLR TA3 to XLR Cable for SR Receiver (12") The Lectrosonics MCSRXLR TA3 to XLR Cable measures 12" (30.48cm) and is intended for use with the SR receiver, when used with the External Mounting Kit SREXT. The XLR connector adapts to the balanced inputs on professional cameras.
- M152/5P - Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone The Lectrosonics M152/5P Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone is highly sensitive, and features a wide frequency response that accentuates the presence and character of the human voice. The M150's frequency response is measured at 20Hz to 20kHz with a slight rise around 10kHz, resulting in a brighter, more "airy" response. A low frequency dip around 50Hz reduces noise caused by proximity effect and ambience. The omni-directional polar pattern provides a generous response at the direct and off-axis sections of the microphone capsule. The M152/5P is compatible with any Lectrosonics beltpack with a TA5 connector.
- Omnidirectional Polar Pattern
- The omnidirectional polar pattern provides a generous pickup at the direct and indirect sections of the capsule. The omnidirectional pattern is less susceptible to handling and clothing noise.
- Wide Frequency Response
- The wide 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response features a slight rise around 10kHz. The high frequency rise enhances high frequencies of vocals, creating an "airy" response.
- Compatibility with Lectrosonics Transmitters
- The mic is compatible with any other Lectrosonics beltpacks with TA5 connectord
- CCMINI Zippered Carrying Case The Lectrosonics CCMINI Zippered Carrying Case is a vinyl case made to carry compact wireless microphone systems.
