Product description Hands-On Review: Lectrosonics L-Series Wireless System Read More The Lectrosonics Wireless Interviewer Kit from comes with everything you need for conducting interviews in professional ENG applications. The kit comes with the Electro-Voice RE50B Omnidirectional ENG Microphone, the Lectrosonics HMa UHF Plug-On Wireless Transmitter, and the Lectrosonics L Series LR Mini Hybrid Portable Wireless Receiver. - Lectrosonics HMa UHF Plug-On Wireless Transmitter (A1: 470.100 to 537.575 MHz) The HMa from Lectrosonics is a UHF plug-on transmitter that accepts mic or line-level signals via a standard XLR connector. It has selectable 5, 15, & 48V phantom power and can be used when paired with a Lectrosonics receiver and handheld microphone - sold separately - in applications for ENG (Electronic News Gathering), EFP (Electronic Field Productions), interviews for broadcast TV, and more. The input amplifier of the HMa transmitter uses an ultra-low noise op-amp for quiet operation and is gain controlled with a wide range dual envelope limiter. A 24-bit A to D converter digitizes the audio, and filters the supersonic noise above 21 kHz. The resulting signal is encoded with a proprietary algorithm to produce an analog data signal for RF transmission. Featuring a wide tuning range of 76 MHz, with tuning steps in increments of 100 kHz or 25 kHz for up to 3072 frequencies, the HMa transmitter also covers three standard 25.6 MHz Lectrosonics frequency blocks. Each block provides 256 different pilot tone frequencies. Legacy analog wireless microphone and IFB receivers are designed to work in DSP compatibility mode, as well as some receivers from other manufacturers. Finally, the transmitter is powered by two AA batteries, with status indicated by a multi-color LED. A USB port is also provided for firmware updates, and an IR (infrared) port is included to simplify setup with IR enabled receivers.
- Digital Hybrid Wireless is a revolutionary design that combines digital audio with an analog FM radio link to provide outstanding audio quality and the exemplary RF performance of the finest analog wireless systems
- Multi-color LED status indicator
- Selectable 50/100 mW output power
- 76 MHz tuning range in 100 kHz or 25 kHz steps for up to 3072 frequencies
- The antenna is formed between the machined aluminum housing of the transmitter and the attached microphone or cable. It functions as a dipole radiator when attached to a hand-held microphone and somewhat like a ground plane antenna when connected with a cable or plugged directly into a mixer
- Electro-Voice RE50B - Omnidirectional Dynamic Shockmounted ENG Microphone (Black) Every day, for local, national and international news reports, the Electro-Voice RE50B gathers the audio for news interviews. Designed specifically as an ENG/EFP interview microphone, the RE50B's custom Dyna-Damp "mic-within-a-mic" shockmount provides extremely low handling noise for clear sound. A large, built-in Acoustifoam filter keeps wind and P-pop noise to an absolute minimum, indoors or out. Frequency response is 80 Hz to 13 kHz.
- Industry standard news interview microphone
- Features EV Dyna-Damp shockmount
- Extremely low handling noise for clear sound
- "Mic-within-a-mic" concept reduces wind and vocal plosive sounds
UPC: 701001010905 - Lectrosonics L Series LR Mini Hybrid Portable Wireless Receiver (A1: 470.100 to 537.575 MHz) The LR Wireless Receiver from Lectrosonics is a digital hybrid ultra-compact portable wireless bodypack receiver with 75 MHz tuning bandwidth and with tracking front-end filters. When paired with a transmitter and microphone it can be used to capture audio in environments for applications such as broadcast TV, video production, ENG field work, and more. The LR has several other features to help provide good clear audio, such as compatibility modes to allow the receiver to operate with older analog receivers. Dual antenna diversity helps to improve range and resistance to dropouts. There is also a built-in RF spectrum analyzer and SmartTune scan, which make finding a clean frequency on-site quick and easy. In addition, the LR receiver is enclosed in machined-aluminum housing and built with detachable antennas that allow for remote antenna mounting. LCD and membrane switch interfaces provide clear information for setup and status monitoring. This transmitter operates in the A1 frequency band between 470.100 to 537.575 MHz.
