Product description Use the Lee Filters 100x100mm Solar Eclipse Filter and Foundation Kit that assembled to safely photograph the sun and solar eclipses. The Foundation kit can be adapted to a variety of filters when not using the solar eclipse filter, and requires the appropriate adapter ring for your specific lens. The solar eclipse filter brings the exposure range to proper levels, and is not suitable for visual solar observation or when using an optical viewfinder. If you are unsure if you have an optical viewfinder, do not use this filter. - LEE Filters 100x100mm Solar Eclipse Filter Bring the exposure range down to manageable levels for capturing images of the sun and solar eclipses with the LEE Filters 100x100mm Solar Eclipse Filter. When shooting a solar eclipse, even the lowest ISOs and fastest shutter speeds result in overexposed, blown-out images, and this filter is specifically designed to eliminate this. The filter fits into the standard 100x100mm-series holder. The solar eclipse filter is designed solely for solar and solar eclipse photography. It is not suitable for general long-exposure landscape photography, or for direct solar viewing with the naked eye.
- LEE Filters Foundation Kit (Standard 4x4", 4x6" Filter Holder) (Requires Adapter Ring) The Lee Foundation Kit is the basic element of the Lee filter holder System. This kit contains all the necessary components (including a small screwdriver) to construct a versatile holder that when assembled in its standard form, accepts three filters - 100mm (4") wide x 2mm thick. It also holds 4x6" (100 x 150mm, 2mm thick) filters. The holder can be made to accommodate up to four 2mm thick filters by using the separately-available Lee Filters 3/4" Side-Guide Screws and an additional set of Side Guides for 2mm Thick Filters.Lee makes a variety of standard and wide angle adapter rings in screw-in and bayonet sizes as well as accessory compendium shades. When mounted, this holder will rotate on the adapter ring for positioning a polarizer or a graduated filter. Optional "side-guides" and guide mounting screws in shorter/longer lengths are available for use with 1mm and 4mm thick filters. UPC: 619465011447
