Product description The LEE Filters 150 x 150mm #8 Yellow Filter is a basic contrast filter, primarily for use with black and white film, that slightly darkens skies, helps to cut through haze, and improves overall contrast. It is the most common contrast filter for black and white photography, producing an accurate tonal range and compensating for the blue sensitivity of panchromatic film. There is an approximate 1.3x filter factor with this filter, requiring an increase of 0.3 stop for normal exposure.
This filter is constructed from optically correct resin, measures 5.9 x 5.9" / 150 x 150mm, and is compatible with the LEE SW150 filter holder. - Yellow contrast filter for black and white film subtly darkens skies, cuts through haze, and gives greater contrast overall.
- Produces accurate tones in order to compensate for panchromatic film's blue sensitivity.
- Constructed from optical resin for maintained image quality and clarity.
- Filter measures 5.9 x 5.9" / 150 x 150mm, is 2mm thick, and is compatible with the LEE SW150 filter holder.
