Product description The 150 x 170mm SW150 Mist Stripe Filter from LEE Filters is compatible with a LEE Filters SW150-series filter holder. This filter can be applied to create a soft-edged line of mist across an image, which can be used to make the transition between foregrounds and a background such as the sky, indeterminate, while allowing for a normal, unaffected appearance in the other regions of the image.
This filter achieves its effect with an opaque band across its center region that that extends approximately 0.25" in both vertical directions before tapering to clear below and above, with soft-edged lines of transition before both the clear areas. The clear areas then extend approximately 6.5" until they each meet the top or bottom edge of the filter.
This filter is non-coated and is constructed from optical-quality resin for clarity as well as color fidelity. -
