Product description - Introduction to LEE Filters
The LEE Filters 3 x 3" #12 Deep Yellow Polyester Filter is a basic contrast filter, primarily for use with black and white film, that strongly darkens skies, reduces blues, and increases overall contrast. It is also suitable for some infrared and false color photography and helps to cut atmospheric haze. There is an approximate 1.3x filter factor with this filter, requiring an increase of 0.3 stop for normal exposure.
This 3 x 3" / 76.2 x 76.2mm filter is manufactured from high-quality polyester materials, is durable and easy to clean, and can be cut-to-size or mounted within filter frames for use. - Deep yellow contrast filter for black and white film strongly darkens skies and blue tones, cuts through haze, and increases overall contrast.
