Product description Drawing on its tradition of optical craftsmanship and precision manufacturing, Leica delivered the 1.5-10x42 Magnus i Riflescope to empower you with uncompromising optical performance and lasting durability and safety. At the core of this riflescope is an expertly designed optical system with precision optics that provide high-contrast and high-sharpness images. To enhance optical performance and to bring total throughput to 92%, the optical system is outfitted with full multi-coatings and a baffle system to reduce stray light. To protect lenses from moisture and to ensure clear views during adverse weather conditions, optical surfaces are enhanced with the Aqua-Dura hydrophobic coating that repels water droplets. With the 42mm objective, this riflescope can become a reliable partner for making that perfect shot, even in the challenging lighting conditions and to deliver bright, crisp, and clearly visible images. This riflescope offers all necessary convenient features like a generous eye relief and a diopter adjustment. Another central highlight of this scope is the L-Ballistic Reticle. Inspired by the German # 4 style, the reticle offers three medium posts, a thin crosshair with ballistic markings, and an illuminated ultra-fine yet well-defined, brilliant red center dot. The dot's brightness offers 60 settings and can be adjusted to accommodate your preferences and any lighting conditions. The crosshair line casts a 0.2" (0.5cm) subtension and offers ballistic markings below the red dot, spaced at 1.9" (5cm). The reticle also offers a parallax-free performance at 100 yards. To save battery power, the auto-off function is activated when you tilt the rifle 75° or after 3 minutes of inactivity. To make the most of what the reticle has to offer, this riflescope features a special BDC turret that gives you a rapid holdover adjustment capability of 9.3 mil per turn with 0.1 mil increments. It offers simple and precise targeting at ranges up to 1000 yards with almost any cartridge. The turret is resettable and lockable and provides a zero stop.
To ensure lasting durability for years of service, the housing is almost over-engineered. It is made from high quality aluminum alloy and features a 30mm maintube with a 1.5mm thick wall for exceptional durability and safety. Among other highlights are waterproof and fogproof performance, low-profile capped turrets that can be re-zeroed without tools, knurled and easy-to-operate in gloves knobs and rings, slim eyepiece, and a redesigned-for-efficiency battery compartment. The magnification ring also features a low-profile lever, just in case you need to bump up that zoom factor instantly. - Optical Performance
