Product description The Lens Hood for V-LUX 1 Digital Camera from Leica is a petal-type lens hood offered as a replacement or spare to the hood that comes with the camera. Compatible with the Leica V-LUX 1 digital camera, the lens hood twists and locks into place on the camera's lens with a snap. Lens hoods are designed to deflect stray light from entering the lens and creating unwanted light flares on your image. They also offer a degree of protection for the lens from accidental impact. The lens hood can also lock onto the lens in the reverse position for storage or simply to have it handy when not in use. The petal shape of this lens hood is designed to match the wide focal length range of the V-LUX 1 camera.
