Product description The ThinkPad Pro Docking Station from Lenovo is designed to dock with select 2018 ThinkPads and provide extra ports for you to get your daily tasks done. Snap your ThinkPad laptop onto the dock to access three USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, one of which provides always-on charging, as well as a single USB 3.1 Type-C port that offers charging support up to 3A when connected to the included 135W ThinkPad AC adapter. This dock also allows you to extend your ThinkPad's screen to a maximum of two external displays via its dual DisplayPort 1.4 ports.
Connect to local area networks and the internet with the dock's built-in Gigabit Ethernet port. Or listen to your favorite tunes with the integrated 3.5mm headphone jack, which supports stereo audio and microphone usage. In terms of keeping your ThinkPad safe, this docking station has a Kensington security lock slot for warding away potential thieves. It also includes two security keys to lock in your ThinkPad when it's attached to the dock. - ThinkPad Compatibility
- Built for 2018 ThinkPad L, T, X, and X1 series laptops, including the L480, L580, P52s, P580p, T480, T480s, T580, X280, and X1 Carbon Gen 6.
- USB 3.1 Gen 1
- The system features three USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports and a single USB 3.1 Type-C port that will allow you to connect peripherals such as hard drives, printers, and memory card readers. At 5 Gb/s, USB 3.1 Gen 1 transfers data up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0. USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.0 are synonymous.

- This docking station supports charging up to 135W with the included ThinkPad 135W AC adapter and power cord. Furthermore, one of the ThinkPad Pro Docking Station's USB 2.0 supports always-on charging while the solo USB Type-C port supplies up to 3A of power.
