Product description Connect your USB 3.0 Type-C system to a USB Type-A device, HDMI or VGA display, and a Gigabit Ethernet network using the USB 3.0 Type-C Travel Hub from Lenovo. Compatible with select Lenovo systems, this hub interfaces with your host system using plug-and-play via an integrated USB 3.0 Type-C cable that also supports DP alt mode. Once connected, users will have access to one USB 3.0 Type-A port, an HDMI port that supports resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz, a VGA port that supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz, and a Gigabit Ethernet port that supports 10/100/1000 Mbps network connectivity.
Please bear in mind that this hub works with Windows 7 or 10 and requires a USB 3.0 Type-C port that can provide 5V / 3A of bus power. It will not work with lower voltages, such as 5V / 1A or 5V / 0.9A. Additionally, while there is one HDMI and one VGA port, only one external display is supported at a time. When the HDMI and VGA ports are simultaneously used, only the HDMI port will function. General Features Integrated USB 3.0 Type-C Cable - For connecting with the USB Type-C (female) port
- Compatible with notebooks in which USB Type-C port has a bus power of 5V / 3A. It will not work if the bus power is 5V / 1.5A or 5V / 0.9A
- Compatible with notebooks equipped with 5 Gb/s USB 3.0
- Supports DP alternate mode, fixed at 2-lane DP mode
USB 3.0 Type-A Port - USB Type-A receptacle connector supports 5 Gb/s USB 3.0
- Supports currents of 0.9A (900mA)
HDMI Port - Supports resolutions up to UHD 4K (3840 x 2160) @ 60 Hz
VGA Port - Supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz
Gigabit Ethernet Port - Meets IEEE802.3ab network specifications for Gigabit data rates
- Meets IEEE802.3 network specification for 10M/100 Mbps data rates
- PXE boot and load image from remote server are required both on legacy BIOS and UEFI BIOS systems if the host systems support it
- Supports Wake-on-LAN under S3 mode if the host system supports it
- Supports MAC address passthrough if the host system supports it
- LEDs on the connector indicate activity and link status
