Product description A trio of filters to promote creativity, the 46mm Filter Kit from Lensbaby includes a solid neutral density filter, a circular polarizer filter, and a star filter, along with a filter case to protect and store all three filters when not in use. Each of the 46mm filters have front 46mm threads to permit stacking them on top of one another, or for attaching a lens cap to them. - 46mm Neutral Density 0.9 Filter
- This solid neutral density filter helps to control movement, as well as permit working with wider than normal aperture settings by darkening the entire image. The 0.9 density requires three additional stops of exposure, enabling you to work with slower shutter speeds to blur moving subjects or wider apertures to achieve a shallow depth of field effect in bright conditions.
- 46mm Circular Polarizer Filter
- Well-suited for outdoor and nature photography, the circular polarizer filter helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. This results in a noticeable increase in the saturation of skies and foliage, as well as clearer imagery when photographing in hazy conditions. A circular polarizer differs from a linear polarizer in that it supports full use of a camera's autofocus and auto exposure functions.
- 46mm 8-Point Star Filter
- This cross-screen filter produces eight reflected light points stemming from specular highlights to give a starburst effect. The filter itself is clear and has etched lines on the surface to produce the star effect without affecting color or other aspects of the image.
