The cap is made from plastic and is fitted with a piece of 0.005"-thick brass shim stock that has been drilled with a 0.01"-diameter pinhole. When mounted to a DSLR, this cap offers an approximate 2" / 50.8mm focal length for a standard field of view, along with an f/200 aperture for near infinite depth of field, as well as the ability to work with long exposure times to blur motion.
