Product description The Powered Cage for Canon EOS-5D Mark II and Canon EOS-7D from Letus35 provides regulated power to the Canon 5D Mark II or 7D DSLR cameras via a custom battery dongle inserted into the camera's LP-E6 battery slot. The dongle attaches to the inside opening of the cage for a compact setup. It also features a built-in start/stop button and a programmable IR remote transmitter. This allows you to easily start and stop recording by pushing an easily accessible button on the cage rather than trying to reach the record button on the camera body. The cage is CNC milled from high-grade aluminum and hard anodized for durability. It features 1/4"-20 and 3/8" mounting points along the top, sides, and bottom of the cage. This allows you to mount accessories to the cage or mount the cage itself to a larger rig. The powered cage is also lightweight, weighing just 1.4 pounds. Power is supplied to the cage via a 2-pin LEMO style to D-Tap connector. This allows you to power the camera using a standard Anton Bauer Gold Mount or V-Mount battery. A Letus35 Interface Plate or Padded Long Weight is recommended for mounting your Anton Bauer or V-Mount battery plate. Front LEMOs feature a 2-pin processed power (7.2 to 8.4V) and a 3-pin IR emitter plug. The rear LEMOs feature a 2-pin power input, a 2-pin processed power (7.2 to 8.4V), and a 4-pin input button for a remotely mounted start/stop button. -
- Mount point for an HDMI/cable clamp
- Mount point for an EVF Knuckle
- Anti-spin pin
