Product description The Letus35 Ultimate Adapter with 72mm Ring is a lens adapter kit that allows 35mm cinema lenses to be used on video cameras. This allows the camera to have access to professional lenses that create high-end imagery and shallow depth of field. The Ultimate offers the highest quality and best features from Letus35 and allows the user to work with an upright image. This kit features a 72mm lens adapter, PL lens mount, and is optimized for the V2 rod system. - Shallow Depth of Field
- Shallow depth of field is a very powerful tool for telling a story and getting specific details across. Many feature films use this tool, yet video cameras with small CCDs cannot produce this optical effect.
- Technology
- This adapter involves the concept of using a 35mm cinema lens (PL mount) to project an image onto a translucent piece of moving glass; the projected image is then focused on by the DV or HDV camera lens and recorded.
