The Pro Guide is engineered with lead-free high-transmittance calcium-fluoride glass elements, phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms, and the proprietary Twilight Max HD lens coating system is engineered to complement the optical properties of the glass to deliver crisp and clear high-contrast images with accurate color rendition and virtually zero distortion across its wide field of view. The Twilight Max system ensures maximum light transmission across the entire visual spectrum, especially in the upper blue/violet wavelength range to enhance low-light vision. The magnification and lens diameter produces a wide exit pupil that, when combined with a long eye relief, provides exceptional comfort during long observation sessions.Its open-bridge/dual-hinge design helps to reduce weight while providing more surface area for your hands to grip the optical tubes — improving grip security and stability. To withstand the rigors of the outdoors, the chassis is made of a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy wrapped in a protective rubberized armor. Textured palm-pads improve grip security for sure-handling even in cold and wet weather, and a large textured focus wheel ensures precision adjustments even when wearing gloves.
