Product description All Leupold riflescopes are made in the United States at their Oregon facilities. Leupold makes them in all sizes and configurations, providing quality which always appeals to sensible consumers. To use a riflescope with your shooting device, you'll need a mounting base and mounting rings in addition to the scope itself. You'll also need to settle on your preferred reticle type, as Leupold offers most of their scopes in many different choices of finish and reticle type. The FX-II is essentially a fixed-magnification version of the VX-II, designed to deliver performance and features for serious hunters and shooters everywhere. They've got some nice improvements over the VX-I models such as the Multicoat 4 lens system and the "fast focus eyepiece" which quickly locks your eyepiece once reticle focus has been set. This being the Ultralight version, the weight has been shaved by about 17% versus its normal siblings of the same specifications. - Absolutely waterproof and fogproof
