Product description The 3-18x44 Mark 6 M5B2 Riflescope from Leupold features a weather-sealed housing, 34mm optical path and an illuminated Horus 59 first plane reticle. Leupold's Xtended Twilight multi-layer lens coatings provide maximum light transmission and image clarity. Blackened lens edges also help to improve image contrast by reducing glare within the lens system.Complementing the advanced optical system and broad zoom range, this Mark 6 series scope is configured with a durable housing that is built to endure regular use in unforgiving conditions. The scope's one-piece aluminum tube is weather-sealed and filled with an argon-krypton gas mixture that that provides greater thermal stability and fogproof protection than conventional nitrogen gas. Additionally, the spring-loaded erector system enables a generous impact point correction range; it also helps the windage and elevation turrets maintain zero even after repeated recoil.This Mark 6 features the Horus H59 reticle. This reticle system, developed by Horus Vision, is a precise reticle with a uniform grid etched on glass. The design and layout of the reticle features a built-in rangefinder to provide the rifleman a clear picture and numeric information about the target. It is optimized for extreme long range use, especially in low-light conditions. The reticle features a wide lower horizontal grid in 1-mil increments for increased wind holdover. The center cross has been "broken" so groupings are less obscured. - Optical Performance
