Built to last several lifetimes and perform flawlessly under the most grueling conditions, this scope delivers performance without compromise. Twilight never looked as bright as it does when sighting through this VX-7. The impressive 50mm objective delivers light transmission & clarity to astound even the most critical of shooters. Repeatability is a key function of any sighting system. Leupold has built their entire VX-7 line around a state of the art mechanical system in a robust 30mm main tube. This larger dimension provides greater surface area for a rock-solid hold in your rings as well as generous windage and elevation adjustments. Now you can dial in for those long distance shots with confidence. Whether you're sighting varmints across the prairie or trying to put your next string into the X ring at Camp Perry, this scope will bring your target in closer so you can hit exactly where you want to hit. To use a riflescope with your firearm, you'll need a mounting base and mounting rings in addition to the scope itself. Bases attach to your firearm and rings attach to your scope. By affixing the scope mounted rings to the rifle mounted base you create a reliable accurate, and secure sighting system. Proper spacing of the rings, as well as the ring height should be considered to ensure a proper line of sight can be established. This will maximize the value of your investment, and enhance your shooting experience. - Accurate long-range shot placement is made possible at high-magnification by the parallax correction dial which is conveniently located on the saddle. There is no need to break out of your hold on your rifle, just twist the knob with your free hand to set the focus.
- Fast Focus Eyepiece
- Quick focusing European style eyepiece rotates 1.5 revolutions lock-to-lock. Fast & precise focus adjustments ensure you'll be on target in a flash. The included Alumina rubber eyepiece guard protects both your forehead and the ocular from damage.
- Dual Spring Erector System
- This dual spring configuration exerts up to 30% more force upon the erector assembly to virtually eliminate backlash and stress on the internal mechanical mechanism. The result is enhanced tracking & repeatability as well as a greater lifespan for all of the internal moving parts of your scope.

- Speedial Precision Adjustment System
- Rotating the integral cap 1/2 turn from its secure & locked down position facilitates your ability to pull the cap up & engage the adjustment knob for precise, tactile and audible 1/4 MOA precision adjustments. The titanium nitride & stainless steel adjustment mechanism are engineered to extremely tight tolerances and maintain a near perfect engagement of the interior surfaces of windage, elevation and parallax adjustment dials. - German #4 Reticle
- The German #4 is a traditional European style reticle with 3 heavy posts at 3, 6, and 9 o-clock. Fine cross hairs establish your point of aim for precise shot placement. The posts stand out well in low-light conditions and against heavy cover, wooded backgrounds, and shadows.
