Product description Decorated with a 24kt gold-plated ring and a medallion, the matte black 4-12x40 VX-R Riflescope from Leupold is designed for medium-range shooting and features an illuminated Ballistic FireDot Reticle. The optical system offers index-matched multiple anti-glare coatings that reduce reflections and maximize light transmission. In order to improve contrast and reduce stray light, the eco-friendly, lead-free optical elements have their edges blackened. The objective lens surface is also protected from scratches with the DiamondCoat coating. To help you compensate for wind drift and ballistic bullet drop, the scope offers 80 MOA windage and elevation adjustment range with a 1/4 MOA impact point correction.
The Illuminated Ballistic FireDot Reticle features a bright fine center dot that is ideal for fast target acquisition at extended ranges.
The 6061-T6 aluminum housing is lightweight and durable, waterproof, and features a 3x twin bias spring erector system that increases holding force. To make sure that your optics don't accumulate condensation when you are moving through temperature gradients, the housing is filled with a proprietary mixture of krypton and argon. - Optical Performance
