Product description Leopold's 4-24x52 VX-6HD CDS-ZL2 Side Focus Riflescope is a new iteration that carries over old reliability and performance but features upgrades like: High-Definition (HD) optics, their Twilight Max Light Management System, and fast CDS-ZL2(CDS ZeroLock 2) windage and elevation dials. While the High-Definition (HD) optics ensure high-contrast and true color images, their proprietary Twilight Max Light Management System features improved transmission throughout the entire visible spectrum — emphasizing reds and blues at the spectral edges, and providing shooters with deep views into the shadows of twilight. With the wide 52mm lens this riflescope delivers improved visibility in challenging lighting conditions. Another major improvement is the Guard-Ion hydrophobic optical coating that prevents finger stains and repels water droplets, dust, and dirt from optical surfaces. To improve contrast even further, and to reduce stray light, the eco-friendly lead-free optical elements have their edges blackened. DiamondCoat 2 protective coatings on all external surfaces protect the optics from scratches.
Another highlight of this optic is its 2nd focal plane T-MOA illuminated reticle. The reticle features ultra-fine features and a brilliant red crosshair with MOA-based compensation dots on the crosshair. This reticle also offers a canting indicator that flashes when your firearm is misaligned. To help you compensate for wind drift and ballistic bullet drop, the scope has 75 MOA windage and elevation adjustment ranges with a 1/4 MOA impact point correction.
The match the impeccable quality of the optics, the housing is crafted from an ultra-durable and lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum alloy and features a 34mm maintube. It is filled with an argon-krypton gas mixture to ensure a waterproof and fogproof performance. The lockable eyepiece offers specially featured CDS-ZL2(ZeroLock 2) capped finger-operated dials that are engineered to provide twice the travel, fast adjustments, and accurate returns to zero. - Optical Performance
