Product description Leupold keeps their successful tradition of delivering state-of-the-art sport optics alive with their persistent attention to detail, precision and quality. This American optics company, located in Portland, Oregon, pioneered the process of nitrogen purging to waterproof riflescopes in 1947. Since then and to this day, Leupold continues to develop new technologies, and use advanced materials to push the envelope to produce some of the world's finest sport optics. Leupold's Mark 2 T1 6-18x40mm T1 Tactical Riflescope combines high-performance optics with the features you need, at an affordable price point. Featuring Leupold's Multicoat 4 lens system, 1/4 MOA precision adjustments, and total water and fog-proof performance, this Mark 2 will get you on target quickly, and accurately. When you need to reach out to great distances, or zero in on smaller targets, the 6-18x magnification is a definite advantage. In critical high-stress situations, you can't take chances. Your shot placement must be surgically-precise, and your sighting system must be dependable, and rugged. Leupold builds their scopes to extremely high-standards, so they'll work the way they're supposed to, regardless of the terms of engagement, conditions, or climate. Furthermore, the Mark 2 T2 can be re-configured by Leupold's custom shop to suit nearly any mission-specific requirements. To use a riflescope with your firearm, you'll need a mounting base and mounting rings in addition to the scope itself. Bases attach to your firearm and rings attach to your scope. Proper spacing of the rings, as well as the ring height should be considered to ensure a proper line of sight can be established. This will maximize the value of your investment, and enhance your shooting experience. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith's skills will be needed for proper installation. - Lockable, fast-focus eyepiece
- 1/4 MOA precision adjustments
- Nitrogen purged for water and fog-proof performance
- Parallax Correction
- Adjustable objective enables precise parallax adjustment from 25 yd to infinity
- Multicoat 4 Lens System
- Multicoat 4 lens system delivers optimal brightness, clarity, and contrast
- Mil-Dot Reticle in Second Focal Plane
- The Mil-Dot reticle is the standard reticle used by the US Army and Marine Corps that enables long range distance calculations. A series of dots upon the cross hairs gives the shooter the ability to judge bullet drop and the proper hold over for accurate long range shot placement.
This scope has the reticle positioned in the rear or second focal plane so it will not magnify when the scope is zoomed to high power. This leaves the sight picture unobstructed for a clear view at all times.
