Product description Leupold keeps their successful tradition of delivering state of the art sport optics alive with their persistent attention to detail, precision and quality. This American optics company, located in Portland, Oregon, pioneered the process of nitrogen purging to waterproof riflescopes in 1947. Since then and to this day Leupold continues to develop new technologies, and use advanced materials to push the envelope to produce some of the world's finest sport optics. Greater magnification gives you the advantage of seeing distant objects more clearly. Mounting a higher powered scope to your receiver usually means that you have to compromise size, profile and weight to get the performance you're looking for. With Leupold's 6x36 FX-II Riflescope you'll get the power you need in a low-profile optic that is also lightweight. This scope delivers a generous amount of non-critical eye relief for fast target acquisition and precise shot placement on fast moving targets. Don't think that Leupold cut corners here, because this is a fully featured sighting system without compromise. Nitrogen purging ensures a clear sight picture regardless of the climate & fully coated optics render a brilliant sight picture under the most dynamic of lighting conditions. The 36mm bell and 1.0" main tube keep this scopes profile sleek and unobtrusive for a fast pull from your scabbard and ease of maneuvering through difficult terrain. To use a riflescope with your firearm, you'll need a mounting base and mounting rings in addition to the scope itself. Bases attach to your firearm and rings attach to your scope. By affixing the scope mounted rings to the rifle mounted base you create a reliable accurate, and secure sighting system. Proper spacing of the rings, as well as the ring height should be considered to ensure a proper line of sight can be established. This will maximize the value of your investment, and enhance your shooting experience. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith's skills will be needed for proper installation. - 1/4 MOA precision adjustments
