Product description The B&H Binocular Buying Guide Read More Bridging the gap between compact and full-sized, the ergonomic form-factor and complementary optical technologies of Leupold's gray colored 8x32 BX-4 Pro Guide HD Binocular makes it an ideal addition to your outdoor or hunting kit. The Pro Guide are engineered with lead-free high-transmittance calcium-fluoride glass elements, BAK-4 roof prisms, and the proprietary Twilight Max HD lens coating system to deliver crisp and clear high-contrast images with accurate color rendition and virtually zero distortion across the entire wide field of view. The Twilight Max system ensures maximum light transmission across the entire visual spectrum, especially in the upper blue/violet wavelength range to enhance low-light vision. Keeping the magnification to a relatively low 8x helps to limit the appearance of visible hand-shake that is common with higher power optics, while producing a wider exit pupil than a similar 10x for comfortable viewing — especially in low or challenging light. To withstand the rigors of the outdoors, the chassis is made of a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy wrapped in a protective gray colored rubberized armor. Textured palm-pads improve grip security for sure-handling even in cold and wet weather, and a large textured focus wheel ensures precision adjustments even when wearing gloves. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme temperature and environmental conditions. A slim and ergonomic design is comfortable in the hand, and at just over a pound they won't weigh you down when you're on the move. - Optical Performance
