Product description A Guide to Birding with Spotting Scopes Read More The Leupold Smartphone Adapter Kit for Apple iPhone 6 lets you effectively use a Leupold spotting scope as a telephoto lens for your smartphone. This adapter kit includes a phone cradle that aligns the phone's camera with the eyepiece of the spotting scope, allowing you to capture crisp, detailed images and video of distant scenes, thanks to the spotting scope's high-quality optics and powerful magnification. Even better, you can share what you capture by text, email or social media. Two snap-on adapter bushings are provided — one or the other fits every Leupold spotter. The bushing takes the place of the rubber eyecup on the spotting scope's eyepiece, and provides a mounting surface for the included fiberglass-reinforced cradle lever-lock. Slip the phone in the cradle, then lock the cradle to the bushing. The process takes seconds and requires no tools. The cradle lever-lock includes a Picatinny rail that accepts compatible accessories and also serves as a pee sight for lining up your subject. -
