Product description Introduce the wondrous world of microscopy to your youngsters using the 3S NG Microscope Kit from Levenhuk. The kit contains a cordless straight-viewing microscope and the Levenhuk K50 Experiment Set with many useful lab accessories, ready specimen samples, and a dust cover for the microscope. This microscope's an easy-to-use construction features a single achromatic 16x objective, an H12.5x eyepiece, an arched back (that can be used as a handle), a mirror illuminator, two coaxial coarse focusing knobs, and a wide 3.9 x 3.5" stage with two metal clips for holding slides. Especially noteworthy, is the achromatic glass of the objective lens, which possesses properties that minimize color distortions and contribute to better resolution, clarity, and contrast.
