Product description Teach microscopy using the Levenhuk 5S NG Monocular Microscope. This compact, cordless instrument is capable of delivering up to 500x of total magnification with its all-glass optical system, consisting of three objectives (4x, 10x, and 40x) and two eyepieces (10x and 12.5x). Underneath the objective turret, you will find a 4.7x4.3" stage with two metal clips for securing your slides. To ensure that you see bright images, the scope employs mirror illumination; a power supply is not required. It also has a built-in diaphragm wheel with five apertures for adjusting brightness and contrast of images. For convenience, the metal housing features an arched back that can be used as a handle. Other highlights are a wide and stable base and knurled adjustment knobs. - Optical Performance
