Product description Levenhuk's 850B Binocular Microscope is a lab-grade microscope that is equipped with a Siedentopf interpupillary adjustment (55-75mm), four plan achromatic objectives, and two pairs of eyepieces (10x and 20x), which together can produce high-resolution images with low color distortions at magnifications of up to 2000x. For improved image clarity, detail, and brightness, the optics are made of achromatic glass. Additionally, plan (planar) achromatic objectives offer better correction for color distortions and geometric distortions, as well as provide field flatness for 95% of the field of view. Users should take note that its 100xs objective ought to be used with a special immersion oil (included) to achieve maximum resolution and to prevent driving the objective into your slide. To augment the optical performance, the scope offers matching mechanical features as well. Its large (6.1 x 5.5") square specimen stage provides full motion control in two dimensions via Vernier adjustments, and a lockable slide bracket. You can obtain bright and high-contrast images using its bottom 20W halogen lamp illumination system, a 1.25 NA Abbe condenser, and a built-in iris diaphragm. For obtaining precise image sharpness, the scope provides both coarse and fine focusing, adjustable using the coaxial knurled knobs with precision graduations. - Optical Performance
