Product description Use the Levenhuk D70L Digital Biological Microscope Kit to expand your professional capabilities or educational pursuits. The kit contains everything one needs to get a streamline introduction to microscopy and get started with more advanced projects right away. You will get a lab-grade microscope with a precision stage, a 2.0MP digital camera module, and a set of accessories and tools. The optical system of this microscope features three objective lenses (4x, 10x, and 40x) on a rotating nosepiece that together with a 10x widefield eyepiece provide up to 400x optical magnification. You can bump up the total magnification to 1600x by using the digital zoom. Using the included 2.0MP camera you can view your slides on the 3.6" LCD display or capture images and videos of the micro-structures and save your data to the microSD memory card. Should you decide to use the device as regular optical microscope, you can easily detach the digital camera module from the head and use the included 10x widefield eyepiece instead. For delivering images with a high visibility of details, the microscope offers bottom and top LED illumination lamps with adjustable brightness.
The beauty of this microscope is that it can be used as a cordless field microscope or as a stationary instrument. For cordless operation, the scope can be powered by 2 user-supplied AA batteries, and for standard corded tabletop operation, the scope includes a 110V power supply. Underneath the objective turret, you will find a 3.7 x 3.5" stage with precision motion controls for the 2 axes and a lockable slide bracket. The stage also has a built-in wheel with 5 color filters for contrasting various microscopic structures on your slides. To help users transfer this instrument from place to place, the metal housing features an arched back that can be used as a handle.
