Product description Explore microscopy using the colorful Levenhuk Rainbow 2L Plus Microscope Kit. The kit contains a microscope with a bright amethyst housing and the Levenhuk K50 Experiment set, containing many useful lab accessories and a dust cover for the microscope. This microscope with a bright housing provides three objective lenses (4x, 10x, and a spring-loaded 40xs) on a rotating ball bearing nosepiece, which together with a 10x widefield eyepiece provide up to 640x magnification. To provide great visibility of your specimens, the microscope offers bottom and top LED illumination lamps with adjustable brightness. The illumination can be powered by three AA batteries for cordless operation or by using the included 110V power supply. For holding your slides securely, the 3.5 x 3.5" stage offers two metal slips and has a built-in diaphragm wheel with 6 apertures. To ensure strength and accuracy, the housing features an arched metal frame that can be used as a handle. Other highlights are a wide and stable base and knurled coarse focus knobs.
This microscope is ready to use out of the box because it ships with three AA batteries and the K50 Experiment Set, which includes a number of prepared and blank slides, and helpful tools for creating and handling your own specimens. - Optical Performance
