Product description Explore the microworlds using the 1280x Levenhuk Rainbow D50L Plus Monocular Microscope Kit. The kit contains everything one needs to get a streamline introduction to microscopy and get started right away, including a bright microscope, a 2MP digital camera module, and a Levenhuk K50 Experiment Set, containing many useful lab accessories and a dust cover for the microscope. The optical system of this microscope features three objective lenses (4x, 10x, and 40xs) on a rotating nosepiece that together with a 16x widefield eyepiece provide up to 640x magnification. You can bump up the total magnification with each objective lens by another factor of 2x using the included Barlow lens. For easy sharing, the head can be rotated 360° and for an ergonomic head position, the eyepiece is inclined by 45 degrees.Using the included 2.0MP camera you can stream or capture stunning images and videos of micro-structures and save them on your PC. Its module easily attaches over the eyepiece and connects to your computer via a USB cable. For delivering images with a high visibility of details, the microscope offers bottom and top LED illumination lamps with adjustable brightness. The beauty of this microscope is that it can be used as a cordless field microscope or as a stationary instrument. For cordless operation, its illumination can be powered by the two included AA batteries, and for standard corded tabletop operation, the scope includes a 110V power supply. Underneath the objective turret, you will find a 3.5 x 3.5" stage with two metal clips for securing you slides. It has a built-in diaphragm wheel with six apertures for adjusting illumination and contrast of the field of view. To help users transfer this instrument from place to place, the metal housing features an arched back that can be used as a handle. Other highlights are a wide and stable base and knurled coarse focus knobs. This microscope is ready to use out of the box because it ships with the K50 Experiment Set, which contains several prepared and blank slides, and helpful tools for creating and handling your own specimens. - Optical Performance
