Product description A step up in light-gathering ability and power from the smaller iteration, the Levenhuk Skyline Travel 70 70mm f/6 Alt-Az Refractor Telescope is designed for portability and ease-of-use for both astronomical and terrestrial observations. Its refractor-style optical tube has a respectable aperture that gathers enough light to easily view the moon, planets, and bright deep sky objects like stars and clusters; with a focal length that still makes it easy to handle, pack, and carry. A photo-style alt-azimuth pan/tilt head easily mounts the optical tube assembly (OTA) with a simple screw, has a control handle to enable smooth movement, and locks the altitude in place for hands-free use to minimize vibration.Supporting it all is a photo-style tripod that collapses low enough for tabletop use and extends to full-sized height. The included prism has an integrated erecting prism enabling the scope to be used as a conventional terrestrial spotting scope, and it comes with two eyepieces offering low 20x and high 40x magnifications, although any 1.25" astronomical eyepiece may be used. Everything in this kit — OTA, tripod, head, and accessories — fit inside the included backpack to make it as portable and easy-to-carry as possible. - Optical Tube
