Product description The MTP 840 DM Dynamic Supercardioid Performance Microphone by Lewitt Audio is for capturing audio in various environments, including applications such as live sound, studio recording, lead vocals, background vocals, conference rooms, lecture halls, boardrooms and more. It features a switchable sensitivity, a multi-step high-pass filter, supercardioid pickup pattern and a frequency response of 40 Hz to 18 kHz. This makes for a unique tool for onstage and in the studio. The MTP 840 DM's high-pass filter directly influences proximity effect, allowing adaption of the mic to an individual's requirement. The built-in three-position switchable amplifier allows lossless recording of far off sources. Built-in LEDs that can be turned off make checking this mic's numerous settings a simple matter, even in the dark. This microphone is powered by 48V phantom power. It has an integrated acoustic pop and windshield built-in for protection without compromising high-frequency clarity. It is also built with a solid full metal die-cast body for rough daily touring. It features a corrosion-resistant gold-plated 3-pin XLR output connector.
