Product description Armed with the black SOLA Photo 1200 LED Dive Light from Light & Motion, you can illuminate the underwater world to create brilliant, colorful images at depths as great as 295'. The CREE LED array outputs 300-1200 lumens of white light and 75-300 lumens of red light. A fairly wide beam angle of 60° offers sufficient coverage for a wide variety of shots.
The white LEDs are useful as a modeling light, and help restore hues that are absorbed beneath the surface, in order to create vibrant photos with proper contrast. The red beam preserves your night vision while remaining invisible to many underwater creatures, so as not to scare them off when you're trying to observe and photograph them. Sea critters that can see the light will still be less likely to flee, since the red beam is warmer and less harsh than the white one, so you'll be able to approach, focus, compose your shot, and fire your strobe before they swim away.
The supplied, rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides a run time of 70-280 min, depending on the brightness level selected. A sliding thumb switch on the body enables you to power the light on and off and select output modes. Additionally, a charger with a U.S./North American-type plug is included. - Light Performance
