Product description Using the proprietary data transmission protocol (iPoll), the DLB 5-20 5 GHz High-Capacity Wireless Radio from LigoWave is capable of supporting wireless data transfer rates of over 500 Mb/s.
In addition to the enhanced data throughput offered by this wireless radio, it supports the 802.11ac Wi-Fi network standard and operates on the 5 GHz frequency making it compatible with nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device. Installation has also been greatly simplified, thanks to the reduced size form factor of this device and the included pole-mounting bracket. Once installed, the DLB 5-20 can withstand harsh weather conditions thanks to the IP-66 weather protection rating to help mitigate network downtime. - Enhanced Performance
- Incorporating a QCA 9563 CPU (750 MHz), a QCA 9882 radio, 64MB of RAM, and 16MB of flash memory, the DLB 5-20 is an ideal solution for capacity demanding applications. The 24V Gigabit Ethernet port (passive PoE) allows utilizing the full capacity of the radio in a point-to-point or point-to-multipoint network design. LigoWave DLB ac series devices are backwards compatible with other LigoWave DLB devices using iPoll mode, which helps to expand or upgrade existing networks over time.
- New Form Factor
- The shape of the enclosure is now smaller and lighter but retains the IP-66 weather protection rating. The design has no metal parts, which makes them lighter and corrosion-resistant.
- Powerful OS
- The LigoWave DLB OS is highly functional and easy to use for effortless setup and trouble-free operation. High performance (500 Mb/s) can be combined with additional services such as VoIP and IPTV. This is possible when using LigoWave's smart QoS mechanism and multicast traffic enhancements for triple play services. Such services are essential for many providers to complement their existing portfolios. iPoll, LigoWave's proprietary transmission protocol, ensures smooth performance with a high number of clients, even in noisy environments.
- Adjustable Mounting Bracket
- The adjustable mounting bracket is easy to assemble and install. It consists of two easy to connect parts that allow tilting the device up and down when installing on a pole. A metal strap is included to securely tighten the device. This design includes additional reinforcements and thicker materials to ensure survival in extreme climate conditions.
