Product description Boost the wireless capacity of your small or medium-sized business with the NFT 3ac Dual-Band Wireless Access Point from LigoWave. Capable of up to 1.75 Gb/s of total data throughput, the dual-band NFT 3ac comes equipped with two Gigabit Ethernet ports. One of the Ethernet ports supports passive PoE (Power over Ethernet), which is ideal for transmitting data and power over a single cable. The access point can be mounted on either a wall or a ceiling. - Integrated Security Radio
- The NFT 3ac has an integrated dual-band radio dedicated for security and RF management. It also allows for real-time spectrum analysis without any interruption to the main radios dedicated for access. The security and RF management features will be supported in a future firmware release.
- Standalone Usage
- Each device can be configured via the user interface individually. This method is suitable for small networks not requiring centralized management and monitoring.
- Master AP Usage
- The access point can be configured as a master device that manages and monitors other devices on the same network. This controller-less architecture is suitable for small to medium size networks with up to 50 devices.
- Infinity Controller
- Infinity controller is a software platform to configure and manage Wi-Fi networks based on LigoWave devices. It is an ideal solution for small to medium enterprises to build and manage wireless networks. All essential features are available together with the flexibility to use your own server or to register on LigoWave's cloud-based server. A cloud-based Infinity controller trial account is free and supports up to 50 Infinity series wireless access points.
- Proximity
- LigoWave access points have an integrated mobile device detection feature. Any device within range can be logged with MAC address and date/time information without any user interaction. The data is exported in real time and can be used to enhance the services of enterprise or managed service providers by importing it to their own application. An API is available upon request. There are several technology partners already using the functionality, including Cloud4Wi and Socifi.
